FRANKLIN, TN — Franklin aldermen and planning commissioners will meet Thursday to hear a proposal for an 11,000-square-foot commercial development at West Main and Downs Boulevard.
The project, proposed for 0.75 acres in the western quadrant of the intersection and tentatively called “Bookers Corner,” is a joint undertaking of Boston English, Design Studio, Crunk Engineering and 906 Architects. The group submitted plans to the city April 16.

Currently, the tract is zoned residential and would need to be rezoned to accommodate the two-story office and retail project.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen and the planning commission will discuss the proposal at the usual monthly joint meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are informational only with no official decisions made.
